Katarina Health ("Katarina") is operated by Kralys SA, Avenue des Alpes 29, 1820 Montreux, Switzerland ("we", "us"). These terms govern your use of the Katarina website, your account and the features we offer through them (the "service").

By creating an account or using the service, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.

Our privacy policy explains how we process personal data. Our cookie policy lists the cookies we use.

Katarina helps people find and work with health professionals, and helps professionals run their practice. The service includes:

• public pages of health professionals and organisations, and a search to find them;
• a personal account to sign in to Katarina;
• tools to keep and share health records, and features that use artificial intelligence (AI), as they become available;
• software for professionals and organisations, such as practice management and invoicing, offered under a separate subscription.

Features marked as coming soon are not available yet. We develop the service continuously and may add, change or remove features.

Visiting Katarina and using a personal account are free. If we introduce a paid feature, we show its price and ask for your agreement before you pay anything.

Katarina does not provide medical care. Information on Katarina, including answers produced by software, does not replace a consultation with a qualified health professional.

In an emergency, call 144 in Switzerland or 112 in the European Union.

The professionals and organisations listed on Katarina are independent. We do not employ them and we are not a party to the care you agree with them. They are responsible for their services, their prices and their advice.

Some features need an account. You must be at least 16 years old to create one. A parent or legal representative can manage health records for a child.

You sign in with an email address and a password, or with a Google or Microsoft account. We confirm your email address and your mobile phone number with one-time codes.

• Give accurate information and keep it up to date.
• Keep your password and codes to yourself. Your account is personal and you may not transfer it.
• Tell us at once through our contact page if you think someone else has used your account.

You are responsible for what is done with your account, unless you took reasonable care to protect it.

Use Katarina lawfully and in line with these terms. In particular, you must not:

• enter health or other personal data about another person without their consent or another legal basis;
• pretend to be someone else, or use a professional title you do not hold;
• publish content that is unlawful or misleading, or that infringes the rights of others;
• copy or collect content of the service in bulk, with robots or other automated means, without our written permission;
• try to access accounts, data or systems that are not yours, test the security of the service without our permission, or disrupt its operation.

If you break these rules, we may remove content and suspend or close your account.

You keep all rights to the content you add to Katarina, including your health records. You allow us to store, process and display this content only as far as needed to provide the service to you and to the people you choose to share it with.

You decide who can see your records. When you share them with a professional or an organisation, they process the data under their own professional duties, including medical confidentiality.

We treat health data as sensitive data and process it as described in our privacy policy. We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising.

Some features will use artificial intelligence, for example to summarise documents or to prepare a consultation. Answers produced by AI can be incomplete or wrong. Check them, and do not base a medical decision on them without a health professional.

Before an AI feature processes your personal data, we tell you which data it uses and which providers process it.

The information on public pages comes from the professionals and organisations themselves or from sources they have made public. We review it with reasonable care but cannot guarantee that it is complete, accurate or current, for example opening hours or availability.

A professional or an organisation can ask us to correct its page or to take it offline through our contact page.

Professionals and organisations that subscribe to Katarina's practice software sign a separate agreement with Kralys SA. That agreement, including its data processing terms, governs the software and prevails over these terms where they differ.

Katarina® is a registered trademark of Kralys SA. The software, design, texts and other content of the service belong to Kralys SA or its licensors. We grant you a personal, non-transferable right to use the service in line with these terms.

Official catalogues, such as tariff catalogues, and other third-party data remain the property of their publishers.

Some functions rely on other companies, such as sign-in with Google or Microsoft, and maps. Their own terms apply when you use them. We are not responsible for the content of websites we link to.

We work to keep Katarina available and secure, but we cannot guarantee that it is always available or free of errors. We may interrupt the service for maintenance or for security reasons.

We are liable for damage we cause intentionally or through gross negligence. For damage caused by slight negligence, our liability is excluded as far as the law permits.

We are not liable for the services, advice or content of the professionals and organisations listed on Katarina, or for the content of third-party websites.

The mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence remain unaffected.

You can close your account at any time by writing to us through our contact page. We then delete your account data as described in our privacy policy.

We may suspend or close your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms or the law. Where possible, we tell you in advance and give the reason.

We may change these terms, for example when we add features or when the law changes. We publish each new version on this page with its date.

If a change affects your rights, we inform you by email or in the service at least 30 days before it takes effect. If you keep using Katarina after that date, you accept the new version. If you do not agree, you can close your account.

These terms are governed by Swiss law, excluding its conflict-of-law rules and the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.

The courts at the registered office of Kralys SA in Montreux, Switzerland, have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you may also bring a claim at your place of residence, and the mandatory law of your country of residence continues to protect you.

These terms exist in French, German, Italian and English. If the versions differ, the French version prevails.
