LabPoint

Order from the patient record: Start a laboratory request from the patient, a consultation or the Laboratory page and choose LabPoint. Katarina opens the LabPoint order portal in a new tab.

Patient data already filled in: Katarina passes the patient's name, date of birth, contact details, AHV number and insurance to the portal, so nobody types them twice.

Results arrive on their own: Every 20 minutes, Katarina imports new results with the PDF report and files them to the right patient. A result it cannot match waits on the Laboratory page.

Abnormal values stand out: Critical and abnormal values are flagged, and the patient's Laboratory tab shows every value over time in one table.

LabPoint Medizinische Laboratorien AG was founded in 2022 by the Lindenhof Group and is based in Avenches. It runs medical and emergency laboratories in the regions of Bern, Ticino, Vaud and Basel, and sampling points in several cantons. Affidea has held the majority since 2026.
